What I do:

I specialise in helping individuals and couples untangle the financial side of separation and divorce. With 20+ years in financial services and over a decade as a qualified planner, I bring clarity, calm, and structure to what is often a fraught and emotionally charged process. 

When you're trying to figure out what’s fair, what’s possible, and what your future could look like, I help by:

• Getting a clear picture of all assets, liabilities, pensions, cashflow, and income

• Running “what if” modelling (e.g. what if we sell the house? what if one person keeps the pension?)

• Advising on pension sharing and offsetting

• Helping you understand your future income needs (considering tax, inflation, and lifestyle)

• Structuring proposals that are financially sound and realistic

• Acting as a neutral “reality check” during negotiations

• Supporting the post-settlement phase with ongoing planning and adjustments

My value lies in speaking plainly (no jargon), in keeping the “human” in financial planning (because life changes are messy), and in translating legal and financial options into something people can understand and act upon confidently.

Pricing:

Fees vary depending on complexity, but to give a ballpark:

• Initial review & recommendation report: from £500–£3,000

• Implementation charge of 2% (max) minus the initial report fee for any business written.

• Ongoing support / monitoring (after settlement): typically 1% of funds under management.
